How to compare skincare products fairly
Choose two products that serve a similar purpose. Enter their names, brands, current prices, sizes and ingredient lists. GHINÉVA displays available ingredient information and unit-price comparisons so you can assess trade-offs rather than assume a higher price means better results.
Compare ingredients, not just marketing claims
Common ingredients such as niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and ceramides can appear in different formulas. Ingredient overlap does not prove products perform the same way, and a concentration on the label does not independently demonstrate clinical results. Check complete ingredient labels with the manufacturer.
Check price per ml or gram
For products measured in millilitres, divide the total price by the volume to compare cost per ml; multiply by ten for price per 10 ml. Products labeled in grams must be compared per gram, not converted to millilitres without density information. For a simple two-product calculation, use our free skincare price calculator.

What GHINÉVA can and cannot verify
This tool uses details supplied by visitors or extracted where available. Online retailer information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccessible. Ingredient identification is not a medical recommendation, and product effectiveness or personal tolerance cannot be inferred from an ingredient list alone. Learn about our comparison methodology.
