How BuyWise models information
Each product and ingredient has a persistent linked-data identifier. We distinguish the presence of an ingredient from manufacturer marketing claims and from evidence. A link between a product and a cosmetic concern does not mean the product has proven clinical efficacy.
Entities and relations
The model includes SkincareProduct, Ingredient, SkinConcern, ProductClaim and EvidenceStatement. Relations include hasIngredient, addressesConcern, makesClaim and supportedBy. The initial graph is a small curated demonstration, not a complete scientific knowledge base.
